Description

We have 2 Pew Benches in stock which come from the original pews of St Judes Church Millbrook.

We have found writing on the back of one of the pews by the carpenters which gives a date of October 7th 1955.

From each 13ft long Pew we upcycle 1 x 4ft pew with ends, 1 x 4ft bench and 1 table.
This is a Pew Bench. we have gently rubbed the varnish back, retained the patination and then oiled the Mahogany to bring out its vibrant colour and grain.
The carpentry construction is left on show at the ends but given a dark stain to work with the Mahogany.
Everything from this mid century designed furniture is reused. Nothing new, except the oil and stain is used, 100% recycled.
