c1910 French walking stick with the French trading mark stamped on the side support BTT.S.G.D.G Brevete Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement Made from Bamboo with brass fitments and ratan seat We have cleaned and polished the piece but have kept the patina such as the fabric tape around the shaft. There is one small break in the Ratan and there is a split in the bamboo shaft but the design keeps this contained. While we sell this as an antique display piece it is in usable condition.
