From our collection of furniture collected from Abel Solicitors in Southampton.  The oldest law firm in the city who are relocating in the city and moving into modern offices.  We offered the opportunity to save and restore the vintage furniture in the building that they moved into after the war.

Victorian Chiffonier and Glass fronted bookcase top.  Pine frame with thick mahogany veneers.

We have “Revived this piece by making repairs to the facades, restoring the original locks and replacing the keys.

This piece benefits from having it original shelves and wooden peg supports.  The glass in the doors appear to be original with a lovely ripple as vintage glass does.

The discreet drawer in the Chiffonier is supported by hand carved corbels.
